Summary
The wife of Frederick V, Elector Palatine, Electress Palatine and briefly Queen of Bohemia. Because her husband’s reign in Bohemia lasted for just one winter, Elizabeth is often referred to as The Winter Queen. Named in honour of Queen Elizbeth I.
