Summary
Fort Lillo is a fortress and a small residential area on the right bank of the Scheldt river in Lillo, today completely surrounded by the port of Antwerp.
As Evelyn noted, the fort is located opposite Fort Liefkenshoek. Together they played a crucial role in controlling shipping to and from Antwerp.
