Summary
Blaeu was an important cartographer and publisher in Amsterdam and owner of a printing shop. He made country maps and world globes, as well as printing authors.

William Jansen Blaeuw, 1571-1638, geographer, printer, and friend of Tycho Brahe. His Tkeatrum Mundi, 1663-71, was published by his son John (d. 1680).
