Robert Hatton (cousin)

Robert studied at the Middle Temple with Evelyn.  He was Evelyn’s cousin as his mother Mary was daughter of George Evelyn of Long Ditton -Evelyn’s grandfather.

Robert eventually became treasurer of the Middle Temple and a serjeant-at-law of Thames Ditton.  In 1628 he had been elected as recorder of Kingston upon Thames.
