Christiaen van Couwenbergh, (1604 – 1667) was a Dutch Golden Age painter.
Austin Dobson describes him as:
“a pupil of Jan van Nes. He studied in Italy; did many works for the Prince of Orange at the chateau of Ryswyk and the Palace in the Wood; and died at Cologne”
